Redbud Systems offers complete digital design and construction services. Starting with an idea for a product, we transform and refine that idea into a demonstrable functional prototype ready for production. We call this the 10,000ft starting point service. By understanding the product, market and final price objective for the production device, we custom tailor the right components and firmware to meet the objectives established.
Hardware Development
Redbud Systems doesn't exclusively use any single source for our hardware components. We examine the exact needs of the project, choose the hardware that is needed to achieve those needs (both in functionality and price) and assemble a prototype development board or system that can be used for testing. Once the prototype hardware is constructed, our firmware / software development team takes over.
Firmware/Software
The hardware represents only half of the completed device in most cases. Microprocessors need to be programmed and interfaced with other components either on or off the completed board. This is the role of the firmware / software development team. Programming in C, C++, Assembly and Linux, the firmware software development team uses the prototype hardware to complete the operational prototype.
